Local Events
Our Libraries are the Best!

We couldn’t be more thrilled to collaborate with librarians and their volunteers! Now there are even more opportunities to for building community through play! GameTime! at BOTS
Check out Bring On The Spectrum (BOTS)! There is a huge sensory gym plus a spacious community space where we can meet and play games.
Through a generous grant from LiveWorkLearn.org, Inclusible has been partnering with BOTS to host supported play & game activities for building skills, gaining experiences, connecting with others, and just plain having fun. We are currently at capacity with this weekly event but keep watch for other opportunities in the future.
Some of our recent events and partnerships include:
Friday Knights at the College of Saint Rose in Albany
Created and hosted by Dr. Susan DeLuke with CSR colleagues and students, Friday Knights brings area youth with ASD together in a supported environment for a recreation & social intervention program. Our contribution has focused on play & games including sharing our play techniques with speech & language pathology and special education students. When pivoting to virtual sessions, we found ways to continue to foster personal connections for participants.
The GameTime! Project with AIM Services, Inc. in Saratoga County
Adults in both the Infinity and the Without Walls day programs participated in our GameTime! Project. Twice a week for four weeks we spent time together trying out new activities and new approaches to play while expanding individuals’ options for fun and engagement.
Activities in partnership with the Autism Society of the Greater Capital Region (ASGCR)
Our partnership with the Live Work Learn arm of ASGCR involves supporting their work in the area of job skills and meaningful activities. There is never a dull moment as we seek to support adults with autism in the quest to utilize their talents, develop new skills, and ultimately live fuller lives.
